I found some data in an old book "RCA Transmitting Tubes" from 1956.
1). Type 673 Half-wave mercury-vapor rectifier
Max peak inverse anode voltage 15kV, max anode amp. 1.5A
      filament 5,0V/ 10,0Amps.
      Electrically equivalent to 575-A
2). Type 8008 Half- wave mercury-vapor rectifier
Max peak inverse anode voltage 10kV, max anode amp 1,25A
      filament 5,0V/ 7,5Amps
      Electrically equivalent to 872-A
Wonder if anybody uses these tubes except for antiques?
The 872-A was used in the Viking Johnson Kilowatt Console
1 kW AM!
