Too right!!! You NEVER EVER, under any circumsatnces,  want that choke resonant.

It must be resonant above the ripple frequency or it looks like a capacitor.


Although we talk about 'resonant choke' or 'tuned choke' we really mean 'nearly
resonant choke'.
