Hang on - you repeatedly remind us that +ve grid voltage/grid current
results in non-linear amplification in amps where screen voltage is fixed.
The non-linearity can be fixed by varying the screen volts with drive. The
DAF system always runs +ve grid voltage. For a range of +ve grid volts,
there will be a range of screen volts (probably not constant) which give the
correct anode current for linear operation.
