Hi Group:

      Yes I have had similar problems with N connectors, and they are efficient
but on high mountain top repeaters I have had the center pin pull back in cold
weather and loose operation on a repeater and duplexer.  Found the same
at the base of antennas with N connectors.  Replaced all with UHF connectors
and problem  went away. No more trips to 5000 ft repeater locations in winter.
