[AMPS] Microwave oven transformers??

  Isn't the microwave oven transformer current
limited via core shunts like on the order of
neon sign transformers? If so, I would think that
connecting a few in parallel and removing or partially
removing the shunts would be all was needed to
secure a useable current output considering the
core area and wire sizes of course.
