Hi George, I do "roll-my-own" meter faces using an inexpensive CAD =
program, DeltaCAD.=20

http://www.dcad.com/

I print the new face on plain paper and use wallpaper seam paste to glue =
it to the backside of the original face. =20

What's great about making the entire face from scratch is that you can =
make the gradations anything you want, add colors, "sign" it with your =
call, add multiplier info, etc etc.

If you're 'into' homebrewing, the CAD program is also great for planning =
the physical layout. I make full-size CAD layouts of each of the major =
project pieces (vacuum variables, switches, sockets, etc etc.). Then =
it's a simple matter to electronically move the pieces around on a =
fullsize chassis layout. I print the final layout fullsize - it's =
spread out on multiple sheets of paper, tape the sheets together and I =
end up with a full-size template for drilling, etc.=20

Good luck! 73, Bill

Hi everybody and Happy Thanksgiving time,

     Need some help....

While back,...probably in the last year ... I remember seeing an =
article in one of the ham magazines about re-facing meter panels with =
the help of a laser printer!

Can somebody route me towards this article. A copy of it will be =
greatly appreciated.

Plan to try this procedure on my next PA project!

     Best regards and many thanks,

                                                              George =
