My experience with Eimac 4CX250B tells me that it needs at least 30 seconds
warm-up, preferably 2-3 minutes.
I doubt that the RCA version is different. The 250 is a indirectly heated
oxide cathode tube.

no warm-up period, but 4CX250F (26 V heater) a 30 seconds period, why
