[Amps] National MB-40-SL?

One of these followed me home from the Montgomery, AL, hamfest on Saturday..
 
I have found references to a MB-40-L in some old ARRL handbooks.  But, I don't find anything that specifically describes the MB-40-SL..
 
Would anyone have a data sheet/instruction sheet, etc..???
