Hi,

you are lucky guys in the US and other parts of the world . You dont
have a "BEMFV" (Order on the procedure for providing proof as regards
limiting exposure to electromagnetic fields), which is some sort of law
we have here in Germany and other european countries (e.g. Switzerland).

You are not allowed to operate with power greater than 10Watts EIRP if
you did not send a detailed statement and drawings of antenna
installations and of your neighbourhood (controlled area - uncontrolled
area etc.) to the REGTP (like FCC). You should have done all
calculations and keep it at your station. There are software packages
(e.g. WATT32 - for DARC Members ) for these calculations.
Unfortunately there is no english version of the so-called "BEMFV". You
really missed something :-).
If you live in a city apartment there is no chance for normal 100watts
or higher.
