[Amps] Pin Diodes?

I've actually used 1N4007s quite successfully - they have a long carrier 
life time, but do need a fair amount of current through them. The reverse 
capacity could be aproblem if there isn't a fair amount of volts across 
them.

Some makes also don't have the long carrier life time that the original 
Motorola's did......
