[Amps] A CALL TO ARMS !

What puzzles me is how does one put 2MHz digital info back and forth 
through numerous 60Hz transformers?  A DSL-telephone line is a whole 
nuther ballgame since it is basically a balanced transmission line 
without tranformers.
