[Amps] valuable parts from a microwave oven?

•  -  Dan  - The powerful magnet from the magnetron can be useful.  By 
drawing a screwdriver blade repeatedly across one pole of a magnet, the 
blade can be magnetized for holding steel screws.  Also, a strong magnet 
is useful for finding dropped steel screws in the weeds.
