The INTEL ZILOG story repeated.
IBM ordered a µP study at INTEL 
IBM did'nt accept .
People left INTEL and started  ZILOG........ 
8080 had the same instruction set as the Z80 
( even if a 4040 existed before  )

Of course, Tektronix was started by people who left HP when HP didn't
want
to do advanced scopes.
