It has been asked before but here again.

How fast will your car go ???
Faster than the speed limit right ???
Do you drive it at it's top speed ???
When you go up a steep hill are you glad you have the extra power so you don't
have to slow way down to get up it ???

If I run a 8877 with 3 Kilovolts on the anode and a anode current of .8 Ampere
It will output ABOUT 1500 watts at all frequencies below about 60 MHZ. If I
should want I could run it at 4 Kilovolts at 1 Ampere and get ABOUT 2500 watts
output. Which is right at the maximum recommend anode dissipation. Or as I have
seen 4.5 Kv @ 1.25 A and about 3200 out on 144 MHZ for EME. The same tube has
been running for over 15 years in that amp. Not mine but a good friend. If it
needed a new tube I would be the one to instal it. He is a appliance operator.

Now think about cars again, why are Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Corvette, Jaguar,
Viver, Bugatti, Cobra, Mustang, Lotus, and more. ... Fast Cars, Sports Cars. ...
allowed ?????? Maybe because most people don't drive with their right or in some
cases their left foot holding the throttle pedal on the floor/firewall..
