[Amps] Heathkit HA-202 2 meter amplifier mod for 6 meters

I know that there is a published mod for the HA-202 (not the A version) to work on 220mhz but I wonder if anyone has tried to go the other way to 6 meters and been successful. There is a 6 meter FM repeater in my area that I can't hit with my Yaesu VX-7R HT and would like to try a little more power and I have 2 HA-202's here at my QTH.
