[Amps] Quick 220 outlet?

This all depends upon finding an outlet within reach of the two
extension cords that is on an opposite hot leg of the a.c.
supply.

In my hotel-room Dxpedition last year my room had 3-wire
service, but the split was one side for all the convenience
outlets and the other side for the refrigerator and garbage
disposal outlets. The stove ran on both legs, though, and
it was necessary to climb under the stove and mount a
240 volt, 30 ampere NEMA twist lock receptacle and
4 X 4 cover at the BX junction box.

If you're going away you might better check if the room has
an electric stove and bring along some 10/3 SO cord, a
240 outlet for your amp, and some plastic wire splice bugs.
