[BULK] - [Amps] Info Pls

Marv,

Unless somebody has access to the Semtech Special Assembly files from the
early 1980's or so, this information will remain a mystery forever. "SA"
means "Special Assembly," and those are proprietary OEM products built to
customer specifications which were never published anywhere (under
Non-Disclosure Agreements). The number following "SA" is just a sequential
number and doesn't mean anything, other than SA8745 came one after SA8744
and one before SA8746. Parts were labeled this way purposely so that people
could never figure out what's inside and try to duplicate the products.

The best way to figure out the contents of an "SA" is to see how it was used
in its original circuit, and reverse-engineer from that data.

HNY to All,

I am looking for basic info re a Semtech HV Special Assembly diode stack
that is marked SA8745. No response from Semtech, nil from Google and
elsewhere. Any help will be appreciated.

Marv, W6FR
