Yes, thanks Rich, I recall your examination of this problem: failed grids
being a parasitic oscillation issue, not generally due to DC or HF RF
current.

Tomm, there you go.  Again, I had no problems with my Henry 3K modified
with an 8877.  Lots of gain in grounded grid.  I used my Drake C line to
drive it; the load control on the T4X-C had to be cranked full CCW to
limit drive at full output !!!
