[Amps] Low power output from 4-400A linear

In this configuration the gain will be quite low; expect 6-8dB.
You dont write how much power you feed it with from the exiter, but if it is 
100W you are in the ballpark.
I've buit a similar amp, using a QB4/1100 (7527), which yelds a max of some 
750W for 100W in with Plate at 3000V.
If you want more, up the plateV to 4KV, my guess is that that alone will 
bring it beyond 10dB and 1KW. If more gain is needed you can lift the screen 
to around 100V (make it adjustable, and you have a variable gain amplifier!)
