[Amps] Error - safety issue

A while ago there was a discussion about replacing a meter protection
diode. I suggested using a 35A bridge, using the ac connections to give
'back to back' diodes so polarity didn't matter.

A very important point - you have to short the + and - together for this
to work. If you don't, you end up with diodes back to back in series,
and get no protection. That can be a BIG safety issue if your meter or
metering resistor blows open when there's a glitch.

Sorry!

Steve
