I think Texas ( TCU )KWH increase was 44% last year compared to 22% for all
other states. TCU used the excuse that most their power was generated using
natural gas which had a substantial increase in price. When investigated,
other states using natural gas only had a 22% increase. I will have to park
my 3cpx5000a7 and 3cx3000a7 amps or get a second job to use them.

Consider yourself lucky. My local utility makes AC with natural gas and
rates have varied between 9.6 and 14.83 cents per kwh (usa) in 2005.
Two years ago I spent $30 a month for the shack, and now it is over $100
a month. More during contest season with two amps running all weekend.
