This all leads me to wonder if someone, somewhere, has got a simulation program into which you can feed the tube characteristics and get out the parameters such as intermod, input impedance, grid dissipation, peak currents and so on. It should be possible, although hard work. I wouldn't know where to start, myself, but then, I wouldn't have known where to start with SPICE!
