	Yes, I saw many work in that way, no problems; the filament must be in the 
vertical plane. And the socket pins must have good tension, because as a 
somewhat long tube as it is, the valve tends to fall downward.
Maybe one can improvise a clamp (as for 572/811 ones) to hold it in place,
horizontal.
