3X3 = 3CX3000A7, 4X5 = 4CX5000*, 4X1 = 4-1000A, 4X3 = 4CX3000A.

The correct Pronunciation is Three By Three.

Little tubes are referred to like "a couple three fives" 35 = 3-500Z's.  But
mostly are ignored by the big tube crowd like they don't exist.

However it is acceptable when piling up stacks of smaller tubes to use
AMPLIFIER names as referencing the PILE.  An SX refers to a pair of 8877.

Ah, those crafty yanks....
