I don't have an 85 Handbook.


The 1988 Handbook I have shows an  " illegal"  ground 
connection in a 2000 volt supply step-start circuit.

It shows improper fusing in a 3500 volt supply.

It is bad engineering to have any power line connected 
circuit depend on a path to the chassis or safety ground.
