[Amps] question to post on amps web page

Sir,
May I post the following message on amps web page?  
questions on linear amps:  1. What is your opinion on
porcelain plate caps for use in high power amps.  I
always liked the way they looked, but am not sure how,
electronically, they compare to none porcelain types? 
2.  On the Hammarlund HXL-ONE, no center tap is on the
filament xformer, so can one put a 220 ohm, 1 watt
resistor from each lead of the secondary winding to
groung, as I have seen on similar linear using 811As? 
3.  I have a schematic for a  Linear using 811As, so
can one use this same input circuit, "tuned L
network," using same value components, for the input
circuit on this Hammarlund?  I may wire up an input
circuit same as found on the 811A amp., if you think
it will work.  Best,  Jack Sullivan
