I've often wondered about the "MODE" switch? It selects the appropriate winding tap on the primary for higher voltage SSB or lower voltage CW. As you switch from one mode to the other, there is a temporary open circuit on the primary as the switch cotactor swings from pole to pole. Has this ever been a problem? Steve KK7UV
