[Amps] Henry 3K-Ultra to 8K-Ultra Conversion

    I have to agree with that statement in leaving the 3K  Ultra as is. I have one of those 3K Ultra amps and it puts out plenty of power as is. Also, the power supply is different in the 8K version as per info in the manual.

I have a 3K Ultra and I have gone over the 8K... This is a big job with lots of expensive parts to replace... And the 8K requires a bunch more drive than most folks have... You gain what, three quarters of an S-unit in the other end?
