[Amps] 3-500Z glitch resistor

If the concern is FOD from a glass fuse, I wonder if the ceramic type would be more robust with respect to shattering.

One could always place a piece of heat shrink on the body of the fuse for added protection.   Some very large amps use the lowly glass fuse to good effect and they are available in a multiplicity of current raitings.

Seems like a nice way to have a plug 'n play fix when a paracitic or some other mean thing happens.
