You can narrow it down to only 10 issues by referring to the yearly index  
in the December issues in those days.

Water Cooling:

Jo  Jennings, W6EI, installed a converted water cooled 4CX250 in the base 
of his  mobile whip.  He converted.  I think Eimac subsequently built some  
water cooled version based upon the results.  There was a writeup in CQ  or 
QST in the fifties.
