   Usually, but not always, meter cards (scale) will indicate the meter movement 
sensitivity in the lowest right hand location on the card, normally in a hard to see 
location.  Like a 10 mA scale might say 50ua in the corner of the card.
Most good Voltage and current meters with over 1 (or so) mA (scale) will expect a 
multiplier or shunt to operate at the scale value.
