Dick K4XU demonstrated a solid-state module that was water cooled.  He hooked up an electrically controlled sprinkler system valve to the amp keying line and whenever he was transmitting, a stream of water flowed through the module, then outside to the backyard where it fed his garden irrigation system.  He was watering the garden whenever he was on the air!
