[Amps] First Power in 25 years question

I have an old Eico ‎950‎ RC bridge that I have used to reform caps.
It has a built in current limited 0-500 volt source. I have used this with good success. I no longer use it to test caps for leakage since I now have a Sprague TO-6A cap analyzer, but I still find it very handy for reforming. These used to be cheap and plentiful @ hamfests. Many are buying them just to rob the eye tubes. Go here for a schematic and description:

Hi John,

Thank you for the information! I am debating if I should try and
restore it, or just sell it. The restore process looks like a bit of
work, so I may be inclined to sell it. I know it worked 25 years ago,
as I had it on then. However I do not want to put power to it until I
fully understand the ramifications of that process. It is dusty, but
otherwise looks pretty close to new, so It might make a nice addition
to teh shack here...

If I power it, I will remove the HV filter and try and reform it
first. THANKS for that tip!!
