[Amps] importing OM power amp to the US

Dear QROers,

A friend of mine, which is going to Dayton, would like to buy an OM 
Power 3500 amp to be delivered in the US. Being this amp not FCC 
approved, would it be possible to import it or would he have any 
problems. WOuld it be an quick process or time demanding?
