[Amps] older 3k

Actually Jim , I recently had a problem with a 3-500 where it would not light yet showed continuity with an ohm meter , it happened that the connection would break under load, I fixed it by cutting into the side of the pin with a 3 corner file and running in some high temp solder with a pen torch and a hemostat clipped onto the tube pin at the seal to sink some of the heat
