[Amps] AL-811H with 572's question

Hector,

The tuning remains the same due to power supply limitations in the AL-811H.  The advantage of using the 572B's is that the tube is more rugged and will withstand mis-tuning better.  It will also last longer as it will be run below it's rated output.  One might sneak a few more watts out, but you run the risk of burning up the power supply.  The filter capacitor bank is marginal in this amplifier, so I would think the rest of the supply is also marginal.  Tell him to maintain the same plate and grid current limitations and he should never have to replace the tubes.

Hi

A friend of mine just got a 811H with the tubes 572 s( from  RF parts)  some one
else made the modification and looks that all is working fine, he is very

obsessive in his things and want to know all to the detail specially in the
amplifier tuning,    the question is now , the amp was original with 811's  and
all the tuning and

the maximum values are for those tubes, with the 572's are the same maximum
values  to take care when tuning for maximum power?

will appreciate your answer  to pass to him.
