[Amps] GS-31b/GS-35b Interchangeability - Doesn't Matter

At first, I thought I'd measure my GS-35b and cooler to confirm
Carey's statement (granted, I should've done that first).
However, it doesn't affect me (I already have my GS-35b w/
cooler and spare GS-35b).  However, from his statement,
it would seem he knows of what he speaks.  The other person
saying they're interchangeable speaks like he knows what he's
talking about (but offers no data or description).  One of them
is full of hot air.  The difference is, there's no potential
damage from saying they're not compatible when they are.  IMO,
statements saying things are compatible without knowledge that
they ARE compatibile should be avoided.

It IS interesting to note that there is a small difference in
cost, on already inexpensive tubes & coolers (compared to similar
offerings).  Unless a person is an outright skinflint cheapskate
tightwad, the cost shouldn't matter.  The small cost difference
doesn't matter to me and I expect MOST others think that as well.
Furthering the image that hams are cheaper than cheap is not
appreciated.
