Don´t underrate the development problems with solid state amps doing the
same power as two or three 3CPX800A7 or similar.
One of the big problems is the low pass filter, high power Micas or NP0
ceramics are quite expensive as well.

Well, my point is that I'd be happy to see some experimentation/development
in SS amps, instead of another commercial amp using hideously expensive
tubes.
