Interesting observation since the caps look identical to most Alpha, Amp 
Supply, Heath SB, Ameritron and several other amps that used Johnson, 
Cardwell, and OEP variables.

The switch is not a simple Centralab LV type clone plus sections are in 
parallel.

That amp looks just fine for a GU-74B.
