The EC-1028 was used in the Henry 2000D amplifier.

As for the primary / secondary connections, yes, the primary connections are made through machine screw terminals and the secondary connections made through VERY large solder terminals.

Mike and Glen:

Henry used the ECA transformers in the 80's and 90's from what I have learned by working on them.
I believe you have the primary/secondary relationship reversed though.

Typcially, the primary on these is the mounted screw terminals and the secondaries are the large three solder lugs.
Most if not all of the Henry console type amps are choke input filtering, so the AC rating on these puppies is higher than it would be for a typical capacitive filter system.
I expect that the secondary on that thing will be 4000, 5000, or even 6000 volts AC which is a bunch.
