I got one around here too. A friend gave it to me. The tubes are bad and not the same, so I have thought of converting it to some Russian GI7b ceramic tubes. I have a few of these tubes lying around here. Turning it into a 160 meter amp seems like a good idea to me. You can buy new GI7b tubes for around $25 each. I would not put a lot of money into this amp as you mentioned it has no tuned input, is ugly looking with only one meter and is super heavy with a steel cabinet with built in power supply. It would be a great amp to experiment with, chop and alter. I just would not spend much, if any, on acquiring it.

Hello
I have an oppertunity to pick up a Swan Mark 1 amp which uses a pair
of 3-400s. 10M-80M with no tuned input. I thouhgt it might be a good
choice to convert to either single band 6 Meters or 160 Meters.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
