When the 4X150 was upgraded to the 4CX250 anode fins ( more fins and more restrictive air flow ) it's dissipation rating went to 250 watts. No internal changes. The upgraded 4X150 was only in production for a couple of years since the 4CX250B was basically a duplicate product. Don W4DNR
