[Amps] Commander 2500 Pi Coil Toroid

I’m need to repair a melted toroidal inductor in a Commander 2500. (See K1TTT station maintenance for pictures). The coil I have has the same melted mounting and burned up cores. It looks like the cores are painted red which are a –2 core. I haven't measured the size as of yet.

K1TTT has some inductance measurements on the 80 and 160 meter parts of the coil, but I need the 40 meter inductance value. Does anyone have anything on this?


The owner of this amplifier melted it down on 40 and 80 meters RTTY contesting. As did K1TTT.
