[Amps] Need Zener for 2KD-3

Wow! Bill, you are correct that they are expensive. Mouser Electronics has them but they are close to  $58 each.
With that in mind, I make my own using several diodes in series to end up with the same effect for peanuts cost wise as this zener is quite a low voltage zener.

I need a zener for my 2KD-3.  It's a 1N4561.  It appears that they are 
really hard to find and exorbitantly expensive when you do.  Has anyone 
found a source for a replacement at a reasonable cost?
