It's distilled water! High resistivity, low conductivity. As Jeff
said, there is a finite risk of death, no matter what you do.
Like others on here who have worked with high power, high voltage, water
cooled amps, I saw very little additional risk because of water cooling.
The greatest risk comes from taking the covers off and defeating the
interlocks to work on the amp with power applied. (Don't forget to
take off the neck chain)
Of course, there is a risk of operator heart attack when that main
contactor powered open due to a loss of water pressure. When a
contactor supplying several hundred KW powers open, under load, it may
be really loud!
