I installed one for a customer.  The back of the amp has threaded inserts to accept the normal bolt pattern of the typical muffin fan.  I simply used a long enough screw to reach to the amp rear panel.

What does it take to add this to an 87A? Are there mounting holes and a 
cutout where I can simply add a generic fan and run it from 12V?
