These are rated for 500 watts by Bird, but going by the size of the load resistor I'd imagine they are able to handle considerably more power for short periods of time. The Bird 82A manual doesn't give any guidance. Does anyone know if Bird has provided guidance for the 82A at power levels in the one to 1.5 kW range?
