[Amps] Pulsing SWR Meter

I use a Nye Viking MB IV (4) A  antenna tuner after my Command HF 2500
Amplifier. The antenna tuner has never had a problem and has always been
adequate for matching any of my antennas.

I recently noticed the SWR meter in the Nye Viking tuner pulsing. The power
meter was unaffected.  In the past, this pulse Iindicated the 9 volt
battery powering the SWR and power meters needed replacement, however, a
new battery did not stop the SWR meter pulsing this time.

I measured the voltage of the new battery at 9.79 volts. I made the mistake
of not measuring the voltage of the 9 volt battery I removed from the tuner
before I disposed of it, however, it had been in the tuner for at least 3
years.

Your suggestions would be appreciated!
