[Amps] Amperex 3-500ZG

Scott,

Interesting that they even got the boxes the same as Amperex made. The 
Amperex products were last coming out of Covimag factory in France, 
which closed some years ago. Their industrial triodes like the 300 kW 
8918/YD1342, were sold to Thales Electron Devices. We use a pair of 
these in push-pull at work, at 2800 KHz, and Thales sent us a last buy 
announcement a while ago, so we bought a handful of them. I didn't know 
the smaller glass tube equipment and drawings were still around but 
apparently someone held on to them. Thats awesome that Penta took that 
on. Is the production in USA now?

I have some Eimac and Triton SK406 chimneys, if you are interested.
