     Comments:

The weekend before SAC did not promise very good for the coming
contest.
I caught cold and I was forced just to stay in bed for a couple of days
to recover. At that time my station was far from ready for the
operation
so I had to push really hard to get everything done. I made some final
adjustments at the start of the contest and when I finally started I
     was already 12 minutes late.

I was supposed to operate SOAB HP but there was no time to test with
the
amplifier so I entered in the low power category. The propagation was
the
best that I have ever heard in SAC CW and there were some moments when
I
even forgot that I was just running barefoot. The good propagation is
one
reason for my low multiplier count on 40m. I should have been on 40m
and
looking for the multipliers from the Far East when I worked on the
higher
bands. 80m was a big problem for me because I only had a low inverted
vee
dipole at 10m high. So I felt quite helpless while running just 100W
into
it. With a better antenna I should have made many more multipliers on
80m.

During the night pile-ups slowed down a bit and I started to feel
extremely
tired. I was not yet quite recovered from the flu. At around 02Z I had
to
take a short break for about 2 hours to be able to finish the contest.
From
around 04Z until 0730Z I was still quite confused but after that I was
feeling more comfortable and I actively started to move new multipliers
from
one band to another. Finally I managed to work 218 multipliers. I was
also
thrilled when I broke the existing low power record in SAC CW. I am
sure
that many other records were broken this weekend.

Many thanks for the QSOs! I was happy to work so many familiar calls
from WRTC.

I have observed all competition rules as well as all regulations for
amateur radio in my country. My report is correct and true to the
best of my knowledge. I agree to be bound by the decisions of the
     contest committee.
